In near perfect weather conditions, 70 riders attended Round
1 of the King of Ballarat at Nerrina. With many new and old faces fronting,
there was some close times, rock paper scissors competions and big mechanicals
to keep the crowd entertained.

After a long state series, we have finally got the dates set in concrete for the King of Ballarat 2008.
Round 1- Nerrina, 8th June
Round 2- Black Hill, 6th July
Round 3- Nerrina, 3rd August
Round 4- Black Hill, 7th September

On 2nd August 2008, Club MUD will be holding it's AGM at the Brown Hill Cricket Club rooms, which will coincide with Round 3 of the KOB races.
We invite all memebers, and those willing to become part of the club to join in this event.
The nite will consist of the AGM, then once completed, a BBQ will be supplied, drinks will be available for those over 18, plus soft drink for the juniors. We are also looking at showing a variety of new and vintage MTB movies, which should be a lot of fun.
The club is looking to invite not only club members, but also those who are coming up for the race, to make a weekend of it, and join us to make the night go well. If this is successful, we could possibly get these going more often, to keep everyone keen in the club.

Rd 8 Victorian State Enduro Series - Results now up |

On Sunday the 18th November, Club MUD hosted the final round
of the Victorian Enduro Series out at Nerrina in Ballarat over a 9km long
coarse in clear, dry, hot & dusty conditions. A huge thanks goes out to the
Club Members who made the day possible, without them it would not of happened
so a big pat on the backs to them. Well done to all the riders who competed and fought out the day in the tough conditions.
Big Thanks goes to the event sponsor Cycle City Ballarat for all the support for the event.
